In the preceding sections, I've outlined a huge range of elements that contribute to the professionalism of your newsletter. Remember, professionalism is the foundation on which your trustworthiness and credibility is built. It's the first stone on the path to influence and impact, and the framework on which to hang value and personality.
So far so good.
But don't feel like a leaf-cutting ant facing its first cactus. You should already understand that there is no perfect, ideal newsletter layout and management system.
So don't frustrate yourself trying to create it. Do what you can and realize that being less than ideal or less than perfect is fine. If you apply just a few of the ideas listed here, you'll already be ahead of much of the competition.
Finally, professionalism does not mean you have to create a sanitized, standard, machine-like newsletter with a corporate management behind it.
Professionalism is as much about attitude as applications. Just make it easy for people to get your newsletter and read it, and stop getting it if they no longer want it.
