How to summarize the framework on which all your email marketing efforts should be based? This article is one man's overview of what email marketing is fundamentally all about, with links to the top reference sites and people who "get it."

I'm the one man, and this is a contribution to Squidoo.com, a co-operative content site started by Seth Godin, the man who popularized the concept of permission marketing.
