It never hurts to think of how your email efforts can generate value outside of the actual email campaigns themselves. In this article, Laurie Hood comes up with various suggestions for repurposing newsletter content to generate more leads, buyers and/or visitors.

At the very least, make sure useful and timeless newsletter content is accessible online. It's grist to the search engine mill, it gives people something to link to and it can demonstrate the value of signing up for future issues.
