Hotmail trouble?

Latest posts | Feed | By Mark Brownlow

It seems a fair few people are seeing emails to Hotmail addresses disappear without trace. The mails don't bounce. They don't land in junk folders. They just disappear. And senders are having equal trouble discovering why.

False positives (legitimate email blocked as spam) are an inevitable byproduct of anti-spam efforts. But this article at The Register suggests the problem may be greater at Hotmail. Be sure to read the numerous comments there, too. If you're having trouble, it may be reassuring to know you're not alone.

If anyone has any experience or suggestions on how to improve delivery rates to Hotmail, please do comment.

N.B. This is not the business with new senders getting restricted until they build a good sender reputation.
