Al Iverson does two things in this post, which continues the permission debate discussed of late.First, he makes some clear points about what really counts as confirmed/double opt-in email, as far as those who guard the world's inboxes are concerned. Second, he has some excellent tips on the design and content of the confirmation email you send out to get people to actively confirm their subscription request.
