You may have seen the earlier post on the new MailerMailer email marketing benchmark metrics report. Karen Gedney discusses some of the results, too, in her latest ClickZ article.It's worth reading what Karen says because she takes the raw numbers and interprets what they might mean in terms of possible improvements to your own efforts. Particularly through changes to your subject line.
On top of that, she draws in her own experiences with various clients and campaigns so you come away with some real world understanding of the ins and outs of the subject header.
