Mobile email demands attention again

Apple's iPhoneIf you're fed up of me waving the red "mobile email" flag, look away. If not, you'll like two little snippets of info that wandered flirtatiously across my desktop today.

First, a survey of over 1000 cell phone users discovered that email was the mobile service users would want most "if speed & quality weren't an issue."

Second, it seems that IBM are intending to make Lotus Notes available for the iPhone (photo courtesy of Apple), thus opening the popular and HTML email-ready device to a new market of business email users.

Two more bits of news supporting the likely growth of mobile email use.
