Nice to see that Spam reaches even galaxies far, far, away.

Now if we could just find a way to make all our spam redirect to Darth Vader's inbox, we'd be happy campers.

Oh, I love it. "RE: You Suck" from Obi-Wan might be the best...

I'm out of the office at a wookie extermination conference this week. If your query is important then you can call me on my mobile 079 327 7847.

Thanks everyone.
Mickelodian - I like that...gives me an idea for a future post, too.

Unbelievably funny Mark! I mean so good that I double-checked to see if you had written it. Abandon this email stuff and move to Hollywood immediately.

Interesting, Michael, but the Darth Vader link in the newsletter got 3 times the clicks of any of the other (serious) articles. There's a lesson there?

Actually, I find this consistently across all types of newsletter, my own and those of my clients. No matter how "serious" the subject matter, the highest clicks are always the diversions.
A good reminder that no matter what profession your target audience is, beneath it all they are all humans and we humans like to have fun!

This is hilarious.
You can do more, with Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, Dr. Evil, etc.!
(Geek correction, though: Star Wars would not be "the future of" email - remember, it was "long ago, in a galaxy far away." Contrary to many Sci-Fi writers, Lukas set his yarn in the distant PAST, not the future.)
Best,

Greg, don't give the plan away! There are indeed more in the pipeline...
When I did the Vader one, I had a nagging suspicion that I'd get something wrong. You found me out!
One person did give this a negative ranking at a social media site on the basis that Vader would never go to a garage run by someone called Jabba.
